Lynne began her mushing journey in 2003, when she first took to skijoring with her Alaskan Husky, Xena. After retiring from a career in elementary school teaching in 2016, she jumped headfirst into distance racing—preparing and running a team of yearlings in the 2017 Yukon Quest 300. Since then, she’s continued racing throughout the Midwest and is excited to take on the Klondike as a Rookie with her lead dog, Keetna. When she’s not on the runners, you’ll likely find Lynne paddling hard in a canoe race, always chasing her next adventure.
