The Can Do Canines provide assistance dogs to people with disabilities free of charge. Their fully-trained dogs, sometimes adopted from local animal shelters, are provided to clients with mobility challenges, hearing loss or deafness, seizure disorders, diabetes complicated by hypoglycemia unawareness, and children with autism.

Cast Outdoor Adventures is a non-profit organization which facilitates leadership and skills development in youth and young adults that have varying levels of different abilities. They also offer a variety of immersive experiences in the wilderness surroundings of Ely and into the BWCA.
