Martha Schouweiler

Martha lives in Irma, Wisconsin. She is part of the Otter Run Kennel team with her son Chad and daughter-in-law Erin. When she was 16 years old, Martha went on a summer trip to Alaska, where she bought a sled dog pup and brought it home with her. Although this was the introduction, she did not get into the sport until 30 years after that. When not racing sled dogs, Martha enjoys kayaking, biking, fermenting things, cross country skiing, gardening, and maple syruping.
