Eve is proud to be North Dakota’s only competitive musher! She discovered her passion for the sport at a young age and set her sights early on running the Jr. Iditarod. At just eight years old, she even started her own business selling dog treats to fund her team and her dream. That determination paid off—Eve successfully completed the Jr. Iditarod in both 2022 and 2024. Now a sophomore at the University of Minnesota–Crookston, she’s majoring in Communications and running for the Golden Eagles women’s cross country team. After racing in the 2023 Klondike, Eve is back with 16 years of mushing experience and her lead dog, Skruff, ready to take on the trails once again.
