Sam Louters

Sam lives in Hollandale, Minnesota. When he was 8 years old, Sam asked his dad if he could save up for a dog sled. He got the dog sled, and used the family pet, an Alaskan Malamute, to run around the yard. Sam and his dad bought a few more dogs, and their kennel has grown from there. This year, Sam’s team is mostly made up of young dogs that are new to racing. The Klondike is always a fun race to be part of, and he’s excited to be coming back to run the trail once again!
