CURT LABODA

Curt hails from Schroeder, Minnesota, where he operates a small, family-owned kennel nestled in the North Shore wilderness. With 35 years of mushing experience, he brings a wealth of trail knowledge and a lifelong passion for the sport to every race. This will be Curt’s second year competing in the Lake Minnetonka Klondike Dog Derby, and he’s excited to return to the start line with his lead dog, Asset. When he’s not running the team, Curt enjoys spending time outdoors—especially fishing on Minnesota’s many lakes.
