AJ (Alexandra Johnson) is a Twin Cities local and the proud owner of Jack and the Pack, a dog sporting goods store in Roseville, MN. She got her start in canicross with her dog Jack back in 2017 and has been racing competitively since 2021—including representing Team USA in dryland sprint racing. After years of dreaming about it, AJ is thrilled to finally hit the Klondike trails as a Rookie musher with her lead dog, Grumbles. With nine years of mushing experience and a team that’s trained hard for this fast-paced mid-distance sprint, she’s ready to make some noise—both on the course and at karaoke night!
