Talia lives in Brule, Wisconsin. Her mom was racing sled dogs before she was born and got her addicted at a young age. In 2018, Talia traveled to Alaska to run the Junior Iditarod. While there she went on a solo training run and got lost. She ended up at Yetna Station, a ’pretty awesome place in the middle of nowhere on a river,’ before being found. When she is not behind a dog team, Talia enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, fixing things, trail running, and canoeing.
