Mike Bestgen

Mike grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota, where he still resides. He has been mushing for 28 years and continues to enjoy every aspect of the sport—from training and racing to the people behind the events, the fans, and his fellow competitors. Mike is excited to return to the Klondike, where he has competed for the past two years.
Walker and Teetar serve as a lead dogs on the team. Outside of mushing, Mike enjoys golfing and fishing on the Mississippi.
