Aline graduated from Veterinary School in Brazil in 2017. For two semesters in 2014, she participated in an exchange program at the University of Minnesota Crookston, studying Animal Science. Seeking more veterinary experience in the US, she completed a summer internship at Cornell University Hospital for Animals in 2015. Since 2018, she has shadowed the veterinary team at Westonka Animal Hospital, while working on getting her veterinary license in the US.

Her experience with dog sled races started when she was looking for a fun activity during the very long Minnesotan winters. She was introduced to the sport by Dr. Jackie Piepkorn, and Dr. Shane Smith of Westonka Animal Hospital. She absolutely fell in love with how the dogs are happy running, and how beautiful the bond is between the mushers and their dogs.

She moved permanently to Minnesota in 2018, where she lives with her husband in Spring Park. Traveling is one of her passions, and she also enjoys biking, spending time with her human and furry family, visiting breweries, and doing indoor activities such as visiting museums and other popular tourist destinations. During the summer time, she loves to be outside, and she will always find time to go boating on, and be surrounded by, the beautiful lakes of Minnesota.
